Azimuth is led by an experienced executive team under the guidance of Thomas Thacker II, Chief Executive Officer, continuing the company’s legacy of precision manufacturing performance. The executive team brings deep expertise across Azimuth’s product groups and service offerings, with leadership experience spanning multiple precision manufacturing organizations.

 

Thomas Thacker II
Chief Executive Officer

Thomas is the Chief Executive Officer at Azimuth Technology. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Project Management. He has an established career history of leadership with more than 30 years of experience serving in CEO, President and other senior/executive management roles including sales, product testing, design and manufacturing. As a firearms industry veteran and former professional action shooting sports champion Thomas has demonstrated his success in various segments of the industry and held senior management positions with Ammo Inc., Armalite, Timney Manufacturing, FN America, and DDA, LLC.

Emeric Robert
Chief Financial Officer

Emeric is the Chief Financial Officer at Azimuth Technology. Prior to his position at Azimuth, Emeric served as the Chief Financial Officer with Structure Medical. Emeric's career as a CFO began at Kaye Homes, where he worked for over 8 years. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. He is a certified public accountant with over 20 years of senior management experience.

Cameron Grantham
Chief Revenue Officer

Cameron is the Chief Revenue Officer At Azimuth Technology who joined Azimuth’s executive team in December 2012 as Senior Vice President of Business Development. He brings over 25 years years of leadership experience across the U.S. military, law enforcement, and the sporting goods industry. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice & Sociology from the University of Idaho, as well as a degree in Executive Strategic Sales Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Throughout his career, Cameron has held CEO and senior executive positions at leading companies such as Leupold Stevens, Benchmade Knives, Danner/LaCrosse, and LST Consulting, Inc. He has been instrumental in driving product innovation, expanding global business development, and leading international and domestic sales efforts. His expertise in business development has been a key asset in advancing Azimuth's strategic growth initiatives.

Alson Cornell
Executive Vice President

Al Cornell is the Executive Vice President at Azimuth Technology, since December 2013. Al has over 35 years of experience serving in CEO, COO and other senior level positions in general management, marketing management, business development, operations, sales management and external communications. He is an industry veteran with a well-known track record of successes in the commercial and civilian sporting firearms and ammunition markets, body armor, ballistics, and small arms weapons systems industries. Al has held senior management positions at DuPont/Remington; Beretta USA; O.F. Mossberg and Sons; Heckler and Koch USA, Inc.; Navy Arms Inc.; J.G Anschutz, GmbH; and RUAG Ammotec.

Nick Chylinski
VP of Manufacturing

Nick is the Vice President of Manufacturing at Azimuth Technology, LLC. He is a graduate of Edinboro University with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. He has 25 years of experience in a spectrum of industry including aerospace, medical and firearms. He has experience ranging from manual machining to 5 axis CNC Programming and fixture design, to complex CAD assemblies. Nick's relationship with the Zaisers began at Structure Medical, LLC, where he worked as a CNC Programmer for nearly 4 years. Prior to this, Nick held the same position at Innovative Medical Devices, Inc. for about 2 years.

Mauricio Giraldo
Director of Operations

Mauricio serves as Director of Operations at Azimuth Technology. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, he earned his degree in Industrial Design and built his career across precision manufacturing environments, including roles at Inovo, Inc. and Structure Medical. At Azimuth, Mauricio leads day-to-day operational execution—coordinating people, processes, and production flow to ensure every product meets stringent quality standards and is delivered on time to a diverse customer base.

Azimuth Technology was founded by LeNoir E. Zaiser III and Len Zaiser Jr., building the early foundation of precision, repeatability, and performance that the company is known for.

Co-Founder

Len Senior is a Co-Founder of Azimuth. He is well known and respected for his unique engineering talent and creative ability using state-of-the-art precision machine tools and equipment. His approach ensures that even the most complicated designs are delivered to the highest quality standards. Len has founded many companies within defense, aerospace and the medical device industries. In 2010, Len was honored as Junior Achievement’s Laureate for the Business Hall of Fame for his longstanding entrepreneurial achievements, leadership and commitment to the community. Founder of seven different manufacturing companies, Len has continually flourished in taking an idea from early conception and turning it into a thriving business. As a serial entrepreneur, Len’s companies have employed thousands of people throughout his career, including Engineering Research. Defense Research, Southern Research, Inovo, Inovo Tech and Structure Medical.

Len Zaiser IV
Co-Founder

Len IV is a Co-Founder of Azimuth Technology. He graduated from Union College with a Bachelor of Science degree. Len was a Managing Director at the Transamerica Leasing Corporation and ABN-AMRO Bank, NV. He was also the past Area President of Encore Bank and the founder of HLFC, a leasing and financing company. In 2004, Len co-founded Structure Medical, Inc. Len serves on advisory boards of both Junior Achievement and Florida Gulf Coast University.
