Thomas Thacker II is the Chief Executive Officer of Azimuth Technology, leading the company’s strategic direction, operations, and continued growth as a precision contract manufacturer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Project Management from Liberty University and brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across the firearms and manufacturing industries.

Throughout his career, Thomas has served in CEO, President, and other senior executive roles with experience spanning strategic planning, operations, sales, product development, manufacturing, and organizational leadership. He has held senior leadership positions with AMMO, Inc., ArmaLite, Timney Manufacturing, FN America, and DDA, LLC, serving customers and markets across the commercial, law enforcement, defense, and international sectors.

A firearms industry veteran and former professional action shooting sports champion, Thomas brings both industry and operational experience to his leadership at Azimuth. As CEO, his focus is on developing people, strengthening operational excellence, expanding Azimuth’s capabilities and markets, and building a people-first culture grounded in Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Customer Care, and Continuous Improvement while advancing Azimuth’s mission to strengthen American manufacturing.

Mauricio Giraldo serves as Vice President of Operations at Azimuth Technology, bringing extensive experience in precision manufacturing and operational leadership. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, he earned his degree in Industrial Design and built his career across demanding manufacturing environments, including roles with Inovo, Inc. and Structure Medical.

At Azimuth, Mauricio focuses on operational execution, working closely with production and support teams to improve manufacturing flow, coordinate resources, and ensure products are delivered on time and to exacting quality standards. His hands-on approach to leadership emphasizes accountability, teamwork, problem solving, and continuous improvement.

Mauricio’s combination of manufacturing experience, technical understanding, and people-focused leadership supports Azimuth’s commitment to operational excellence and exceptional customer service.

Roman Hallock is the Director of Operations at Azimuth Technology, overseeing the company’s manufacturing and operational functions. He is a graduate of Edison State College and holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Roman joined Azimuth in 2017 as Product Manager and later served as Production Manager before being appointed Director of Operations in 2026. With more than 18 years of leadership experience, he brings a strong background in operational execution, team development, and continuous improvement. Prior to joining Azimuth, Roman spent nearly a decade in the automotive industry in service and management roles.

Today, Roman leads Azimuth’s manufacturing organization with responsibility for production performance, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and workforce development. He is also active in Southwest Florida’s manufacturing community through the Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association, CareerSource Southwest Florida, and Project BUILD SWFL, helping develop career pathways into precision manufacturing.

Matthew Neely is the Quality Director at Azimuth Technology and has been a member of the team since 2012. With more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing quality, Matthew leads Azimuth’s quality functions and works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and customers to ensure exceptional product quality and compliance with customer and industry requirements.

Matthew brings extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing quality, quality management systems, auditing, GD&T, CMM programming, First Article Inspection, and gage calibration. During his tenure at Azimuth, he has played an integral role in building the Quality team and strengthening a culture of integrity, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Azimuth, Matthew worked in manufacturing quality at Haynes Corporation. He also served four years in the United States Navy aboard the USS John F. Kennedy as an Aviation Fuel Systems Repairman.

Dustin Emholtz is the Director of Business Development at Azimuth Technology and brings more than 26 years of experience in the firearms and manufacturing industries. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions spanning business development, sales, operations, manufacturing, and customer relations, including serving as Chief Operating Officer.

A U.S. Army veteran, Dustin brings extensive industry knowledge and a relationship-driven approach to business development. His broad experience provides a strong understanding of both the manufacturing and customer sides of the business.

At Azimuth, Dustin focuses on strengthening relationships with existing customers, developing new business opportunities, and working closely with customers and internal teams to move programs from initial development through production. His combination of operational experience, industry relationships, and commitment to customer service supports Azimuth’s continued growth and focus on building lasting customer partnerships.
